These components sit inside the outer carton, helping to secure your product in place, reduce movement and ensure a professional, retail-ready finish. The plinth elevates the egg within the carton, improving visibility and presentation, while the base provides a stable foundation for safe handling and display.
Supplied flat packed for efficient storage, these inserts are easy to assemble, making them ideal for both small-batch production and high-volume packaging environments.
Designed specifically to fit our clear tapered egg cartons, these bases and plinths allow you to build a fully coordinated packaging set tailored to your product size and presentation needs.

- Our most used plastic is rPET A 170 (up to 70% recycled material) which is recyclable. Storage conditions for board; 20-25°C and RH 55-65% and for plastics; 19-30°C and RH 20-60%. The expected usable shelf life of finished product is 12 months
- The intended use of finished product is primarily for direct contact with food in the confectionery industry and therefore we determine the likely product safety and integrity hazards with this in mind.
Shipping and Delivery
What happens when we receive an order
When we receive an order on Monday-Friday, we send the order through to picking. We always aim to dispatch orders as quickly as we can, but due to unprecedented demand on our products and a very high number of orders, we currently send orders out within 3-5 working days after they have been placed on our website. We work hard to get as many orders as possible in progress but during this busy period there might be a slight delay.
Please note, once a parcel has been added to the packing cage we are unable to amend or cancel the order. If you need to add to your web order after it has already been processed, we will need to raise and take payment for a separate order.

The following guidelines apply to UK deliveries:
- Charge for UK delivery- £9.95 courier delivery + vat on orders less than £150 (UK mainland)
- Over £150.00 (before VAT) – Delivery is free

For EU Customers
We ship to all EU countries and offer delivery pricing which is calculated by our warehouse according to your order size and destination – these are grouped in zones. The list below gives the delivery lead time from day of despatch. We use several different couriers, including DHL, UPS, and FedEx.
Any orders we send are dispatched on DAP shipping terms, which means we will take care of the export, but once the order arrives in the destination country any import taxes and duties are payable by the customer.

We can also offer ex works prices and arrange to attach shipping labels for your own courier to collect. *Currently, due to significant variation between FDA and UK/EU legalisation we do not ship to the USA.
